Areas of Interest and Support
Emily's background in a variety of areas has led her to curate a wide array of resources. She is always happy to share and connect families and organizations with resources or trainings that might be the best fit for their needs. Whether you are looking for direct support from Emily or an outside tool that you would like to evaluate for your own needs, please feel free to reach out and discuss the direction you are headed via email or through a scheduled consultation.

Whether your family is looking for ongoing support or quick trainings followed by intermittent check-ins, Emily understands that family needs are not one size fits all. From IEP advocacy to educational therapy or long term supports for a loved one with special needs, Emily feels humbled to be able to walk alongside families of all different backgrounds and needs towards their unique goals. Emily is also excited to offer educational therapy on an ongoing basis for local or virtual families looking for support in this area.
For Trauma-Informed Care
Many individuals have experienced trauma in their lives. Whether it be big, small, old, or new, trauma impacts not only our minds, but also our bodies. Emily is passionate about small or large group training, sharing resources, or walking alongside families through this process. With trainign specific to education, foster youth, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Emily is happy to provide new insight as she guides or walks alongside you, your family, or your organization.

For Inclusive Church Support

Editing Bible studies for accessibility and age appropriate content, designing and running camps for adults with developmental disabilities, and vendorizing and launching a Christian community-based day program for adults with special needs are just a few of the ways Emily has consulted in religious settings, in the past. She hopes that Jesus's love is never kept away from somebody because of ability and that all people are able to know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139).
For Educators
Training and empowering educators is near and dear to Emily's heart. As a professional educator, she has jumped at the opportunity for training and learning every chance she can. There are a wide variety of topics Emily is willing to bring and share with your team. Some topics she has shared on in the past include inclusive ministry practices, the benefits of co-teaching, trauma-informed classroom care, and legal best practices for private school resource departments. Feel free to reach out with any idea and Emily will be glad to share what she has already explored in this area or investigate further into what might be the best fit for you as an individual or group.
